Lori was first introduced to yoga over 20 years ago while living in North Vancouver. The practice was so incredibly different, and it piqued her curiosity. Yoga offered relaxation and strength strategies that appealed to Lori, as a new mom. It was also a kind and caring community.
Returning to the Lindsay area, Lori worked as a school teacher and attended yoga classes regularly, exploring a wide variety of yoga styles. Two years ago, Lori combined her two loves, teaching and yoga, and took the Registered Yoga Teacher course with The Yoga Loft. This summer, she completed her Adaptive Yoga Certification, expanding her knowledge to accommodate diverse needs.
In 2024, Lori began teaching Gentle Hatha at Younity Wellness. Her son and daughter are grown up, and she lives in the Lindsay area with her husband. When she isn’t teaching school or yoga, she is hiking, camping, downhill skiing, or horseback riding.
